Where did you go to college? CU Boulder, Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London), and Manhattan School of Music
What is your musical background? I grew up in a very musical family. There was almost always music playing in our home – recordings or my parents practicing or rehearsing
What is your favorite Ars Nova piece? All of them, but Rivers of Light by Eriks Esenvalds is particularly glorious.
What is your favorite musical memory of all time? There are too many, but always, singing chamber music with my parents and their colleagues and now, my colleagues; performing under Gabor Takacs-Nagy in Britten’s Les Illuminations for Bartok Radio in Budapest; meeting Cecilia Bartoli at Carnegie Hall and feeling her radiance fill the green room; singing Una Voce Poco Fa with Andras Schiff and the pianist not have any issues playing the rapid 16th notes (I felt as if I were in heaven!)
What is your favorite food? French and Hungarian pastries, of course!
What is your favorite craft beer, or wine, or distilled beverage? Peach or raspberry limbic
What did you do to keep yourself occupied during Covid? Luckily, I was with my family and there was rarely a dull moment. We watched movies, played music, spend time with all the kids, and probably baked way too much!
What is your favorite hobby? Hiking, walking, traveling, window shopping, going to the theater
