We continue to carefully consider our singers’ and patrons’ health and safety as the Covid-19 pandemic evolves. This policy, published January 5, 2023, will be updated periodically based on the latest CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), state and local recommendations relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In keeping with other local and national performing arts organizations, Ars Nova Singers no longer requires proof of Covid-19 vaccination or negative tests to purchase tickets or attend performances. We no longer require that patrons wear face coverings before, during, and after the performance, though patrons may wear a mask based on personal preference or risk. We strongly recommend that all singers and staff be vaccinated and boosted; however, current guidelines preclude a mandate. Singers may wear a mask based on their personal preference or risk.
These decisions have been made with guidance from local, state, and federal officials. We will continue to monitor CDC, state, and local health requirements and make adjustments as necessary. We encourage patrons to continue to make responsible decisions about their health and we ask individuals who feel unwell to stay home.
Thank you for your ongoing support of live music in our community! We are really looking forward to seeing you.
