John moved to Colorado in 1992, and found Ars Nova through a fellow singer in the Opera Colorado chorus in 2012. After finding the ensemble excellent and the programming and repertoire particularly striking, he joined. John continued with both ensembles and has been wonderfully enriched particularly with Ars Nova due to the group’s diversity of experiences and music. John retired from his day job in software engineering in 2017, and has been enjoying retirement since with his wife, Anita, and family.
