Originally from Kearney, Nebraska, Krista Benesch is a Colorado-based singer and educator. Krista received her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Master of Music in Voice Performance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Recent opera roles performed include Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, and Rebecca Nurse in The Crucible. In addition to her performance work, Krista maintains a private voice and piano studio and teaches elementary music. In her free time, Krista enjoys hiking, cooking, and pottery.
