Noted as a “very expressive soprano” (Opus Colorado), Kathryn Radakovich enjoys a varied career performing works from the modern, classical, baroque, and jazz idioms. Since arriving in Denver in 2013, Kathryn has become a mainstay in Colorado’s diverse arts scene. She is a familiar soloist with area ensembles, including the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, Colorado Bach Ensemble, Denver Early Music Consort, St. Martin’s Chamber Choir, and the Cathedral Choir of Saint John in the Wilderness. Kathryn is also heard frequently in Denver’s top jazz venues: Nocturne, Dazzle, and La Cour. Nationally Kathryn appeared this past season at the Montana Early Music Festival for arias in J.S. Bach’s St. John Passion, the Victoria Bach Festival, and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale’s 35th Season Winter Festival. Kathryn is on faculty at Metropolitan State University in Denver where she maintains a jazz voice studio, directs vocal jazz ensembles, and is the newly appointed director of the Early Music Ensemble.
