What’s a COVID-Times Hobby or Skill You’ve Picked Up? Not really leaving my house for the last year has allowed me to make a serious dent in my reading list, which has been backlogged for about a decade. We also had a baby during the pandemic, which has required me to learn a whole bunch of new skills. I am now an expert in walking around in circles until my daughter falls asleep, which I definitely couldn’t say before Corona.
What Keeps You Connected to the Ars Nova Repertoire? Although I don’t sing myself, I have a long family history of choral music. My grandpa sang in a choir for most of his life in Dublin, and my wife’s grandfather sang in a Welsh choral group that performed in the Albert Hall in London.Tom’s recent efforts in digital content and performing online have been a great way of staying connected during the pandemic.
