Recognized for her “exceptional attention to detail” and “youthful creativity,” soprano Andrea Weidemann works in the musical world on stage and behind the scenes. Andrea has spent the last ten years performing operatic, choral, and chamber music in the Southwest and Mountain West, and is excited to be engaged with Ars Nova Singers, Boulder Opera, Seicento Baroque Ensemble, and Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. Andrea holds degrees from University of North Texas and Colorado State University, having served in leadership roles to faculty and fostering a union between voice and plucked strings. Overtly passionate about outreach and music education, Andrea has been involved in numerous K-12 school performances and organizes community meet-ups for musicians in Colorado. As Communications Coordinator, Andrea’s goal is to build awareness for the importance of live sung music, and maintain artistic relationships across the community.
