Season 39, “Contrasts,” concluded on Sunday, June 1, with Requiem by Herbert Howells, and Mass for Double Choir by Frank Martin. Our special guests for this performance were students from Thornton Elementary School who participated in our EDEN-CO music education workshops, led by Ars Nova alto Ellen Moeller. We enjoyed performing for you all season and we look forward to welcoming you back in September for our 40th Season, celebrating our RUBY Anniversary!
* CALLING ALL COLORADO POETS AND WRITERS *
A Summer Project to Inspire you: SHARED VISIONS RETURNS!
Welcome to Shared Visions, an interdisciplinary collaborative project featuring works by Colorado visual artists, poets, composers, and performers, coordinated and presented by Ars Nova Singers. This project brings together Colorado artists in a unique way, building a community of artistic inspiration and culminating in a performance of new music by Ars Nova Singers. Colorado writers and poets are now invited to view the visual works in our SHARED VISIONS GALLERY and select one (or more) as a basis for writing new poetry (June-August, 2025). Click on the link to access the Gallery and be inspired!
New poetry must be submitted no later than September 1, 2025. Works will then be gathered into an anthology for use in Stage 3. Writers may submit as many entries as they wish (we have had poets in the past who have created poems for every image in the gallery!). Writers must be current residents of the state of Colorado OR provide documentation that they were born in Colorado. A $500 honorarium is offered for poets whose works are selected.
Performances will be held in April, 2026 at The Dairy Arts Center and Lakewood Cultural Center. Tickets will be available starting July 15.
QUESTIONS? or TO SUBMIT POETRY, please email Ars Nova Artistic Director Tom Morgan: tom@arsnovasingers.org

Please be sure to mark your calendars with next season’s dates and information. You won’t want to miss any of it! Tickets will be available starting July 15.
We’re excited to be featuring renowned Colorado painter Scott Fraser as our Season Artist.
